He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sullivan (Larry) of Wake Forest, Brian Pleasants of Wake Forest, John Derek Pleasants (Melanie) of Kittrell and Jennifer Currin (Carl) of Stem; his sisters, Phyllis Kay Pleasants of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Brenda S. Dowd (Robert) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and his grandchildren, Sarah Bumgarner, Zachary Pleasants, Brandon Pleasants, Landon Pleasants, Blake Pleasants, Cade Currin and Chaleigh Currin. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
