She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wells and Julia Burroughs Wells of Sumpter, SC.. She is survived by: her husband Theodore Bowden; and her children, Felicia Brown of Orange, NJ, Kevin Bowden, Sr. of Bethlehem, PA, Terrence Bowden, Sr. (Angela) of Oxford and Theodore Bowden, Jr.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
