She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Barnette. She is survived by: her children, Melvin Daye (Meka), Nanette Reed (Jack), Phillip Barnette, Betty Moore and George Barnette (Kimberly); and her siblings, Virginia Young (Bernard), Mozell Cheek, Ruth Thornton, Robert Lee, Donell Hamilton and Dennis Hamilton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
