She was predeceased by: her father John Adam Niles; her husband Robert Taylor Bryan, Sr.; and her brother Jack Niles of Atlanta, Georgia.. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Taylor Bryan, Jr. (Jody) of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Benjamin Lassiter Bryan (Cindy) of Oxford and John Niles Bryan (Teresa) of Oxford; and her brother Reuben Meredith Niles (Linda) of Oxford. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four nieces; five nephews; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Dorothea Niles Bryan's name to St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 140 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
