It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Burwell of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Donald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Bell Burwell. He is survived by: his son Michael T. Burwell of Chapel Hill.
A reception was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Funerals Chapel (512 Granville St, Oxford, NC 27565).
