David Jackson Ivey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Jackson Ivey of Oxford, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2020 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Jackson Ivey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel Thomas Edison and Mary Rumbley Ivey. He is survived by: his wife Lea Lea Ivey; his children, June I. Manning (Kenny) of Oxford and David J. Ivey, Jr. (Wendy) of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Daisy Manning, Ethan Manning and Chandler Ivey; and his sisters, Linda Ivey Foshee (Randy) of Simpsonville, SC and Gail Ivey Harris of Indian Trail, NC. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, a private memorial service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
