It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Franklin King (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Courtney Rufus King and Mattie Doris Edmunds King. He is survived by: his wife Louise Blackley King; his daughters, Rebecca Cantaffa (Tom) of Oxford and Alice Kowalske (Bryan) of South Carolina; his siblings, Katherine West of Stovall and Vernard King of Creedmoor; and his grandchildren, Michelle Marcengill, Michael Kowalske, Abriana Cantaffa and Zachary Cantaffa. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three siblings, Aubrey, Marion and Mildred.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1245 Mount Olivet Church Rd., Franklinton, NC 27525.
