He is survived by: his wife Janie Burnette Johnson; his daughters, Tracy Atkins (Andy) of Dobson, NC. and Wendy Johnson; his sisters, Wanda Thompson of Boydton, VA. and Anita Chandler of Clarksville; and his grandchildren, Samantha Atkins, Lydia Atkins and Daniel Atkins.
