He is survived by: his sister Vertilia H. Thorpe (Willie Hunt) of Rougemont, NC; his aunt Ila Burt of Oxford, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Cornelius Haskins, Roy Nelson and Barbara H. Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
