She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Durand Perkins and Alma Gray Smart; her husband Joseph; her children, Joseph Goodwin Brown, Jr. and Angela Darnell Brown; her grandson Cameron MaKay Brown; and her siblings, Raley Lanier Perkins, Reginald "Reggie" Grey Perkins and Mary Perkins Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Darryl Keith Henderson of Oxford, Jeremy Scott Brown (Julie) of Holly Springs and Jason Edward Brown (Colleen) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Monique Henderson Renn, Brandon Tyler Brown (Deanna), Tyler Keith Henderson, Madison Hope Brown (Travis), Olivia Faith Brown (Andrew) and Matthew Archer Brown; her great grandchildren, Dawson Thomas Patterson (Makayla), Haley Jade Patterson, Jayden Dupree Henderson, Brantley Walker Brown, Oakley Cameron Brown and Kasyn Makay Brown; her brothers, Wilbur Perkins (Barbara), Forrest Perkins and Bobby Perkins (Margaret); and her siblings-in-law, Barbara S. Perkins, Peggy I. Perkins and Ottie Brown (Sue). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
