She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Annie Kate Williamson Yancey of Buffalo Junction, VA; and her siblings, Joyce Y. Johnson of Galion, OH and Jerry W. Yancey of Virgilina, VA.. She is survived by: her husband Richard Taylor Puckett, Sr.; her children, Richard Taylor Puckett, Jr. (Julie) of Raleigh, NC and Julie Puckett Marazita (Steve) of Crozet, VA; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Henry, Stella, Will and Spencer.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hester Baptist Church (6581 State Hwy 96, Oxford, NC 27565).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the general fund at Hester Baptist Church, PO Box 964, Oxford, NC 27565.
