He is survived by: his wife Lessie Cooley Hicks; and his children, Deborah Hicks Hayes of Greensboro, Beverly Carolyn Johnson of Youngsville, Gloria Hicks Moss (Donnie) of Creedmoor and Donald Cameron Hicks (Sherrie) of Strongsville, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
