He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Marie Shoemaker; his children, Holly Johnson Oaks (Max) and Danny Wayne Lassiter, Jr.; his grandsons, Arlen Ingram and Austin Ingram; his brother Larry Johnson; and his stepchildren, Christy McMillon (David) and Jonathan Gabriel Moss (Heather). He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
