She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Blackwell and Tazzie Blackwell; her former husband Calvin Vaughan; her husband Al Pegram; her son C. Barry Vaughan; and her siblings, Adelle Bentley, Jane Holden and Gwendolyn Winston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Weary and Sue Lavenia Vaughan; her grandchildren, Cindy Sadler (Barry), Michael Weary (Tanya) and Jennifer Boyd (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Alyssa, Adison, Trevor, Ronan, Alex, Ella and Jolene. She is also survived by other loving extended family members and friends.
