She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Wortham and Nancy Thorpe. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Cassandra "Kim" Pettiford and Varsha Pettiford-Spencer (Shirae) of Newark, NJ; and her brother Garland Wortham (Betty) of Oxford. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
