She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Loren Hicks and Dulcie Satterwhite Hicks; her husband Harry Lee Garrett; her daughter Betty Gail Garrett Frazier; and her siblings, Jack Arrington, Lloyd Hicks, Victor Hicks, Clyde Hicks, Maude Hicks Cates, Lois Hicks Blalock Woodlief and Doris Hicks Fogelman.
She is survived by: her sons, H. Flynn Garrett and Bill Garrett; her granddaughter Jaclyn Garrett Palmeri; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Jordan and Jennivieve Palmeri.
