She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Champion and Helen Cash Champion; her husband Robert Wayne Lovings; her grandson Tyler Adcock; and her siblings, Pauline Newell, Erma Reese, Virginia Morton, Howard Champion, Burley Champion, Charles Champion, Sidney Champion Jr. and Donald Champion.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Lovings Adcock, Curtis Lovings (Sandy) and Danny Lovings (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ashley (Joey), Kendall (Jessica), Tiffany (Calvin), Heather, Kasey (Tommy) and Ryan; and her siblings, Linda Fox, Faye Jones, Steve Champion (Denise), Clifton Champion (Gail) and Larry Champion. She is also survived by nine step grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Celebrations Church (5030 Fairport Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Knotts Grove Church Cemetery (3593 Knotts Grove Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
