She is survived by: her husband Leon Holloway; her children, Marie Thornton, Nelson Thorpe (Nakenya), Leon Holloway Jr. and Brenda Oakley (Rod); and her siblings, Isabella Thorpe, Mary Lee Hunt and Melvin Thorpe (Betty). She is also survived by three sister-in-law's, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Belton Creek Baptist Church (4153 NC-96, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the same location.
