She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Wilkerson and Johnnie Chavis; her son Barry Wilkerson; and her brothers, Kenneth Wilkerson and Derek Wilkerson The.

She is survived by: her daughter LaVonda Williams (Frank) of Franklinton; her grandchildren, Trinity A. Williams, Naima A. Wilkerson, Noah A. Williams and Luke T. Williams; her siblings, Connell Wilkerson (Oxford) and Kristie Wilkerson (South New Jersey); her aunts, Martha Taborn (Oxford), Nettie Glover of Scranton, PA and Mary Chavis (Oxford); her uncle Woodrow Wilson (Oxford); her godmother Rosa Venable (Oxford); and her son Shyhem Wilkerson. She is also survived by two nephews; one niece, and many other family and friends.
