He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burgess, Sr. and Evelyn Thorpe Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Laughter Burgess; his daughter Nikki Burgess of Creedmoor; his siblings, Glenn Burgess (Novella) of Creedmoor and Geraldine Thornton of Butner; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Mildred Burgess and Samuel Chester Downey. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
