She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack R. Redd and Alma Lee Beasley; and her stepfather Phillip Wilson. She is survived by: her stepparent Francis Redd; her children, Jessica Lee Gray and Jeremy Gray (Martha); her grandchildren, Maci Gray, Natalia Gray, Lindsey Gray, Maddison Freeman and Brody Freeman; her brothers, Jack Redd, Walter Wilson Dennis Chappell (Marsha) and Wayne Chappell; and her close friends, Rita Moore and Sue Colenda. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
