She is survived by: her children, Joyce Ann Heggie Chrisp of Oxford, Linwood Nathaniel Heggie of Oxford, Joel Thomas Heggie of Oxford, Derek Keith Heggie of Wake Forest and Shelton Baxter Heggie of Creedmoor; and her sister Alma Smith of Oxford. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
