It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvis Clayton of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Claude Clayton and Lillie Mae Bowen Clayton; and his granddaughter Presley Jade Tharrington. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Peace; his daughters, Melissa Ann Contreas, Cassie Marie Tharrington (Antwan), Alexandria Nichole Clayton and Tiffany Rose Clayton; and his siblings, Tonya Rose Clayton and John Edward Clayton. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
