It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alene A Rogers (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alf Anderson and Artelia Taborn Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Rogers Ingram of Clayton, Brenda Rogers Person of Durham, Shelia Rogers Gilchrist of Butner, Eugene Rogers of Oxford and Larry D. Rogers of Oxford. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
A graveside service (limited to fifty (50) attendees selected by the family following Covid-19 guidelines of face masks and social distancing of six feet or more) will be conducted Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 A. M. at Meadowview Memorial Park.
