He was predeceased by: his parents, Hester Eugenia Candler Chappell and Albert Christopher Chappell, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Jean H. Skinner; and his siblings, Annette Chappell Roberson (Tommy) of Henderson and William Richard Chappell (Charlotte) of Hampstead.
