William Brasington Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Brasington (Otto, North Carolina), born in Clare, Michigan, who passed away, on April 15, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Brasington and Lucille Halstead Brasington; and his daughter-in-law Carrie Brasington. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brasington; his children, Jeffrey (Rae) of Inman, SC, Timothy of Waynesboro, MS, Philip (Cindy) of Albany, LA, Douglas (Kathy) of Reserve, LA, Joe (Lisa) of Columbus, MS and Vickie Ocmand (Jeff) of High Point, NC; and his siblings, Millard Brasington, Loren Brasington and Mary Kirkpatrick of Michigan. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and NC state limitations on social gatherings, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Coweeta Baptist Church Building Fund, 780 Coweeta Church Rd., Otto, NC 28763 or your local food bank.
