She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Donald Day and Evelyn Lucille Moran Day; her husband Julian David Vanderslice; and her sisters, Judi Hopps and Jean Sweeney.
She is survived by: her sons, David Robert Vanderslice of Ringgold, GA and James Dale Vanderslice (Cheryl Moore Vanderslice) of Greer, SC; her grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Vanderslice, Emma Elizabeth Rose Vanderslice and Palmer Dale Vanderslice; her great grandchild Anna Grace Templeton; and her cousin Jeanne Marie Pickering Martino (Bob Martino) of Davie, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Morrison Presbyterian Church.
