He was predeceased by: his father Rodney Whitcomb Amig Sr.; his son Michael Anthony Amig; his siblings, Van Robert Amig and Margaret Belle Roberts; and his siblings-in-law, Mary E Amig and T. D. Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Louise Amig; his son Mark Allen Amig (Stacey); his brother Rodney Whitcomb Amig Jr.; and his grandchildren, Megan Amig, Dylan Amig and Austin Amig.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
