He is survived by: his children, Willie "Charlie Carter" Taylor (Carol), Luther "Tater" Carter (Amanda), Wanda Britt (Morris) and Wendy Knight; and his siblings, Eddie Carter, Gary Carter and Shirley Marcinsky. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
