With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Britt Jr. of Orrum, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Claudis Britt, Sr. and Nettie Pridgen Britt; his wife Betty Knox Britt; his children, Virgil C. "Chuck" Britt, III and Anne Goodwin; and his siblings, Carlton Britt, Gerald Britt, Lawrence Britt, Virginia Stubbs, Barbara West and Claudia Little.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Robin" Knox Britt (Vickie) of Lumberton, Gayle Conlee (John) of Goodlettsville, TN and Sheila Britt Webb (Mike) of Laurinburg; his children-in-law, Bill Goodwin of Gallatin, TN and Vickie S. Britt of Orrum; his brother Howard Flantoes of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Amanda, Brent, Jennifer, Jessica, Johnny, Trey, Lauren, Jared and Natalie. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
