He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrius Callahan and Nellie Barnes Callahan; and his brothers, LeRoy Callahan and Charles Callahan. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Callahan; his sons, Derrick Callahan (Susan) of York, SC, Ronnie Ashby Callahan (Esther) of Orrum and Steven Wynn Callahan of Wilmington; his siblings, Wayne Callahan of Orrum and Patricia Slappe of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Ashby Callahan, Luke Callahan, Austin Callahan, Laken Callahan, Ashton Callahan and Kaitlyn Callahan. He is also survived by several cousins, family, and friends.
