She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Campbell (Faye) and Ida Ruth Byrd Campbell; her husband Covell Winningham; and her siblings, James Sylvester, Berlester Campbell and Shirley Byrd Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Carey Dion (Geraldine) of Greensboro, NC, Terence of Raleigh, NC, Sherry Boney of Orrum, NC and Barbara Williams (Titus) of Lumberton, NC; her grandchildren, Terrell Mason of Lumberton, NC, Termaine Mason, Twannia Mason of Fayetteville, NC, Crystal Hansley (Jerrell) of Wilmington, NC, Jahmal Campbell (Denise) and Michael Campbell (Tie'Nisha) of Greensboro, NC; her great grandchildren, Malikaih, Makailah (Lovey), Makaih, Jayce, Kailey, Kenon, Robert and Tehya; her siblings, Earnestine Campbell Hill of Albany, GA, Debra Byrd Jackson of Pembroke, NC and Ralph Byrd of San Antonio, TX; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Campbell of Fairmont, NC, Vermell Barrett of Orrum, NC and Gwen Campbell of Allen, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
