With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry James Edwards of Orrum, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Soloman Edwards and Ella Mae Prevatte Edwards; and his brothers, Herbert, Woody, Jack, Billy and Gene Edwards.

He is survived by: his children, Lesley Edwards Hinson (Richard) of Salisbury and Casey Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his siblings, Tom Edwards (Kaye) of Rockwell, NC, Shelby Baxley of Lumberton and Mary Ellen Taylor of Lumberton. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
