It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Goode of Orrum, North Carolina, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Barrington and Effie Carter Barrington; her siblings, J. C. Barrington, Thelma Walters, Geneva Parker and Alatha Patterson; her daughter Tonya Hewitt; and her granddaughter Sarah Yarborough.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Goode; and her daughters, Melissa Goode and Stephanie Ivey (Tony). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.

At the family's request, no flowers please.
