We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 86, Jessie Stephens (Orrum, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilton Stephens; and her parents, Jesse Bud Collins and Marie Britt Collins. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Johnson (Perry) of McFarlan, NC and Phillip Stephens (Gina) of Fairmont, NC; her grandsons, Matthew Stephens of Fayetteville, NC, Andrew Stephens of Washington, D. C. and Stephen Johnson (Sarah) of McFarlan, NC.; her sister Milla Grey Leggette of Rowland, NC; and her aunt Eloise Bullock of Lumberton, NC..
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Orrum Baptist Church (5255 Atkinson Rd, Orrum, NC 28369). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Floyd Memorial Cemetery (1591 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340).
