With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Henburg Jr. of Orrum, North Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henburg and Sara James. He is survived by: his wife Cennie Mae Henburg of Orrum, NC; his children, Shirley Hardison of Orrum, NC, Terry Anderson of Orrum, NC, Gemetery Hardison of Orrum, NC, Carlton Hardison of Orrum, NC and Emery Black of Orrum, NC; his grandchildren, Keisha Reid of Maryland and Delemtri Jones of Peterson, NJ; his great grandchildren, Olivia Merced of Maryland and Isaiah Smith of Maryland; and his sisters-in-law, Lesamae of Lake View, SC, Ruby Jean Henburg of New Jersey, Betty Ruth Henburg of New Orleans, Delores Dantzler of Chadbourn, NC and Mary Anderson of Chadbourn, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Worley Mortuary & Cremation Service (200 Sandy St, Fairmont, NC 28340). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
