He was predeceased by: his father Eli "Buddy" Thompkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Howell (Robert) of Shallotte, Melissa Morneault of Hope Mills and Maria Patton (Travis) of Hope Mills; his mother Earlene Thompkins of Raeford; and his siblings, Ricky Thompkins, Steve Thompkins of Parkton, Barbara Stephens (Clifford) of Raeford and Dale Jolly of Parkton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
