He is survived by: his wife Sherry McCormick Stephens; his children, Danny Morris Stephens, Jr. (Kendall) of Marrietta, NC and Amanda Oxendine (Jimmy) of Orrum, NC; and his grandchildren, Casey Leggette, Blayke Stephens and Blaire Stephens.
