With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Rouse Walters of Orrum, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isham Rouse and Pearl Warwick; her husband Donley Walters; and her siblings, Lacy Rouse, Pauline Smith, Elsie Smith and Eva Williamson.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna W. Freeman of Orrum, NC; her siblings, Willie Rouse of Fayetteville, NC, Ida Scott (Alton) of Fairmont, NC and Elois Surles of Lumberton, NC; her granddaughter Kellie Freeman of Orrum, NC; and her sister-in-law Brenda Rouse of Fairmont, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
