With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy West Pittman Sr. of Oriental, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry "Johnny" Pittman and Dora Purifoy Pittman; his sisters, Joy Pittman Henry and Faye Pittman Williamson; his cousin Dallas; his close friend Rachel Lois Ellington Pittman; his children, Roy West Pittman Jr. (Darlene Hewitt Pittman) and Kimberly Lois Pittman; his brother-in-law Wade; and his wife Rachel.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to either: Southeast Volunteer Fire Department – Station 19 or Oriental First Baptist Church.
