Richard Dale Lilley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Dale Lilley of Oriental, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ethel Meurman and Dale Eli Lilley; his sister Mary Jean Lilley Martin; and his brother-in-law Everet Wells Martin. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Joan Vlasak Lilley; and his children, Thomas Eli Lilley and Andrea Jean Lilley.

When the Covid-19 situation improves or the weather is such where we can gather safely outside to celebrate the life and legacy of Dick, the Lilley family will announce a memorial gathering later in the spring or summer but at this time there will be no gathering.

Donations may be made to Pamlico Habitat for Humanity, Pamlico Fishes and Loaves Outreach, or Pamlico County Hospice in lieu of flowers.
