He is survived by: his daughter Alyce Santoro (Julian Mock); his sister Mary Pitts; his brother-in-law Lawrence Pitts; his sibling's children, Jennifer Pitts (Sankar Muthu) and John Pitts; his siblings-in-law, Ralph Larsen and Josephine Larsen; his sibling's children, Myles Larsen (Heather), Paul Larsen and Caroline Larsen Simpson (Jesse); Lucia, Nicholas, Grant, Masten, Alyssa, Owen, Juliana and Theadora. He is also survived by the many friends and family who knew and loved him, most of all by his daughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nick's name to Heartworks (heartworksnc.org), a nonprofit agency that provides guidance and services to local families and children in need.
