She was predeceased by: her grandson Beau Alexander Ellenberg; her brother Ted Fertig; and her parents, Edward Sutton Venters and Nellie Odell Wingard Venters. She is survived by: her husband Charles Alexander; her daughters, Karen Killingsworth (Jeff) and Shannon Ellenberg (Brian); her grandchildren, Savannah Ellenberg Alexander (Ben Alexander IV), Charles Tyler Ellenberg and Hunter Douglas Dombrowsky; her great grandchild Benjamin Tillman Alexander V.; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Carey (Lester) and Ann Holton; and her brother Michael Venters (Barbara). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
