He was predeceased by: his son Eric Scott Herman; his daughter-in-law Hermoine Salole-Herman; and his brothers, Robert and William Herman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Herman; his children, Jeffrey Herman and Leslie Culbertson; and his sister Emily Bell. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
