He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vagnone; and his sons, Dennis Vagnone, Jr. of Florida and Patrick Vagnone of Connecticut.

In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Pamlico, PO Box 6, Bayboro, NC 28515.
