He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Muse and Ethel Muse; his wife Shirley Muse; his sisters, Helen Hudgins and Louise Muse; his children, Carlton Muse Jr. and Teresa Cooney; and his grandson William Clinton Muse.
He is survived by: his daughter Suellen Muse; his grandson John Cooney (Cristina); and his great grandchildren, Theo Schneider, Emmett Schneider and Miles Cooney.
