He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Marie Plumlee; and his granddaughter Sommer Peronto. He is survived by: his sons, Billie Lee Plumlee, Jr. (Peggy) of Oriental and Dwight Lee Plumlee of Climax, NC; and his grandchildren, Becca Ruffin, John Plumlee and Michael Plumlee.
