It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Chasse of Oriental, North Carolina, born in New York, New York, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Becker and Irene Gallagher Becker. She is survived by: her husband Darian Chassé; her sons, Matthew Chassé (Diane), Christopher Chassé (Marika) and Daniel Chassé; and her grandchildren, Jaak Chassé, Krista Chassé and Ella Chassé.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's honor to Hospice of Pamlico County, Inc., P.O.Box 6, Bayboro, North Carolina 28515.
