Richard Wells Sappington Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2022, at the age of 75, Richard Wells Sappington of Olin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wells Sappington and Frances Herpel Sappington; his wife Brenda Kay Sappington; and his sister Frances Sweeney. He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Wade Sappington of Harmony, NC and Susan Cochran of Olin, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Sappington, Emilie West, Jonathan Cochran, Zachary Sappington and Jacob Cochran; and his brothers, Ernest Sappington (Pat) and Melvin Sappington (Dot).
