He was predeceased by: his parents, Cowan Huie and Edna Campbell Huie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carpenter; his children, David, Michael Huie (Laura) and Angela Allred (Timothy); and his siblings, Elmer Huie (Lavonne) and Eloise Riddle (David).
